Canadian Small Businesses ready to hire

More than one-third of Canadian small businesses expect to hire new employees and many are ready to take on increased risk, two signs that the country’s main driver of economic growth is picking up speed.
With increasing workloads expected, 38% of small business owners said they are planning to hire in the next year to manage the pickup, a finding in the Angus Reid Public Opinion poll conducted for the quarterly American Express Small Business Monitor found.
